Responsibilities
- Develop professional relationships with clients and collaborate closely with them in the planning of their interior design goals.
- Supervise measurements, space planning, and quotations on the job site.
- Create all building detail drawings in 3D computerized perspective drawings.
- Prepare a construction specification, design documentation, and material list.
- Create presentations for the design intent, colour scheme, and material board.
- Manage client, contractor, and consultant communications, as well as all project-related communications.
- Assist the team of designers in achieving the company's goals and objectives, as well as ensuring that renovation projects and operations are run efficiently
Requirements
- Applicants who are recent graduates or are just starting out in their careers are encouraged to apply.
- Must have a National ITE Certificate/Higher National ITE Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a similar discipline.
- Autocad, Sketch-Up, 3D Studio Max, V-ray, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and the Microsoft Office suite are all skills you'll need, as well as the ability to learn new software and systems.
- A team player capable of designing and preparing complete sets of drawings, from design intent to construction details.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, multitasking and prioritizing skills, as well as good follow-up and tracking abilities
- Proactive and willing to go above and beyond to complete tasks; versatile and appreciates a challenge
