Who we are

Paper Street Design Co. is a multidisciplinary studio incorporating fine arts and design, two forms of expression that are often siloed. We specialise in both digital and physical services, from brand identity, social media, illustration and painting.

For us, it always begins with paper and pen, before the idea takes on a life of its own in some other form. In the era of virtual reality and pushing pixels to meet tapering timelines, we choose to harken back to traditional craftsmanship as part of our process.

As such, our projects are really partnerships that match the skill and passion of our those we work with. Our clientele includes restaurants, bars and cafes - and by extension, retail and lifestyle. Having been in the industry ourselves, we celebrate the affinity we share with hospitality and seek timeless ways to represent it better.

Responsibilities
What we do

Content Creation and Curation:

  • Develop engaging and creative content for various social media platforms, aligning with brand guidelines and audience preferences.
  • Curate and repurpose content to optimise reach and engagement across multiple channels.
Social Media Strategy and Planning:

  • Design and implement effective social media strategies to meet client objectives and drive business goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and target audience behaviour.
Content Calendar Management:

  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure a steady flow of high-quality, timely content across all social media platforms.
  • Coordinate content releases and strategies.
Community Management and Engagement:

  • Manage and interact with online communities, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and engaging manner.
  • Foster a sense of community and brand loyalty by building relationships.
  • Develop and execute crisis management plans to handle negative comments, reviews, or controversies effectively.
  • Uphold and protect the brand's reputation by addressing issues in a timely and professional manner.
Graphic Design and Multimedia Creation:

  • Design eye-catching graphics, images, videos, and other multimedia elements to enhance social media content.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all visuals and platforms.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skill Sets:

  • Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or related roles is advantageous.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your work, including social media campaigns, content creation, graphic design and photography/videography.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms (e.g., photography, video or infographics).
  • Ability to handle camera and equipments
  • Excellent writing and editing skills to craft compelling and effective copy for social media posts and advertising campaigns.
  • Ability to use graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) to create visually captivating images and graphics for social media.
  • Skills in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Affects) to edit and produce engaging video content for social media.
