Role and responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to support the team as a whole in the production of a variety of visual solutions and communication tools to address the needs of our varied clientele.
Candidates with more years of relevant experience and/or exceptional portfolio will be considered for the role of a Junior Art Director and remunerated accordingly.
● Minimum 5 years of industry experience in a recognised studio. Experience working in museum-related projects will be a plus.
● Clear thinking and ability in brand identity and art direction
● An eye for detail, a keen sense of aesthetics and strong understanding of typography and information design
● Good time management and organisational skills to work independently on projects from inception to completion, including onsite supervision of graphic installation works
● Effectiveness in presenting ideas and concepts with clarity and addressing clients’ needs
● Coordinate and liaise with suppliers and vendors on production matters and timeline
Requirements
You will be a good fit if you:
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and XD
● Knowledge of file preparation for print and media development
● Are a driven self-starter with a passion for conceptualising fresh and emotionally resonant experiences, and producing high quality graphic solutions ranging in scale and format
● Appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes exhibition designers, content researchers and writers, project managers and technical experts
● Possess an inquisitive mind about the world, and enjoy delving into content of diverse topics as well as taking pleasure in experimenting with different techniques and materials
● Enjoy exchange of ideas and knowledge with team members and interns
● Have strong written and verbal communication skills
● Are conscientious and proactive
