Job Description
At Epitex, we see graphic design as a skill that enables us to engage, inform and inspire through visual storytelling. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take turn conceptual ideas into exceptional visual representations, both in print and electronic media. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge in current design software and be equipped with skills to deliver visuals for the marketing department.

As the role requires collaboration with multiple teams in the company, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from both written and spoken ideas and translate them into visuals conveying the key messages. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project. Objectives of this Role
路 Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various computer software to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs to meet business goals
路 Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately
路 Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with the marketing team, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
路 Examine existing processes, identifying flaws and creating solutions to improve design capabilities
Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video
Requirements
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
路 Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communication, newsletters, and marketing materials
路 Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
路 Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
路 Manage the design and uploading process of all project material, understanding best practices for using a content management system
路 Use trend intelligence and an understanding of the current and historical business and market to design and execute specific classifications

Skills and Qualifications
路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
路 Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
路 Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
路 Excellent communication and presentation skills
路 Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
路 3+ years in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency with design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.
路 Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript
路 Knowledge of WordPress and content management systems a plus
路 Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software
路 Desire to continue to grow skill set with ongoing education and training
路 Experience in video content creation would be a bonus.
